Is it easy for an American to buy a property in France?

There are no restrictions for American & foreign investors buying a property in France, even non-residents. All investors need is a French bank account and a valid ID. Besides your deposit, you can also expect to pay notaire's fees. I can manage getting your bank account & utilities set up, start to finish.

Deposits range from 20% - 30% and there are a number of French banks that deal specifically in managing mortgages for foreigners.

My expertise, knowledge and network in this area connects you directly with & streamlines the process for you. The process can take as little as 3 months, less if you're paying cash.

With my years of experience in the Paris & French Riviera real estate markets, i can advise on your purchase, from a cosy studio in the heart of Paris, to a fine apartment in Cannes.

For foreign homeowners in France who want to earn an income from their home, but don’t have time to take care of every detail, my services provide the ease and peace of mind that comes with a end-to-end hospitality experience. Your property can pay for itself, while still providing you with a place to come home to, whenever you choose to spend your time in France.

There are two property sectors that I'm really, really good at, and that's holiday rental properties in Paris, and rental & holiday properties in the South of France, specifically in the Cannes region.

I can find you a gorgeous 1 bedroom apartment in Mandelieu la Napoule, just steps to the beaches, for under 200k. Renting that apartment for 10 weeks during the summer can earn you upwards of €7,000 per year - just in summer rental. Prices are lower off season, but my properties are rarely empty, even in the off season, because of my knowledge of marketing to the sector. Bigger of course equals more income and expenses offset for you.

I can find you a lovely studio for under €200k in the very best neighborhoods in Paris that can earn up to €25k a year, more than paying for itself, and still providing you with a lovely little pied a terre.

Of course finding that luxury property is even more fun, and I do love a project. I'm connected with the best agencies in France, for all your needs, with no fuss or hassle.
